hello people,
new owner of 2011 sienna xle here. traded-in 2004 mercedes s600. (also traded 2002 bmw 745i for a mini cooper) so you can see where i am going with this. if you guessed more mpg, you are absolutely right. i am getting 13.5 mpg on street driving from my sienna which, although somewhat disappointing, is significantly more than 8-9 mpg that i got from my mercedes (v12). also my driving is not exactly under the optimal condition ... i drive 4.2 miles to work each way with 39 traffic lights ... yes, it wasn't a typo ... i did mean 39 ... hence low mpg i guess. calculation is based upon 2 tanks full of gas, 560 miles on the odometer, and 2 months of driving/ownership experience. only if i could go to work in casual attire, i would probably ride a bicycle or something to work
i browsed this forum extensively before buying sienna (many thanks to all of you folks who contribute your experiences here) and i plan on being a regular here
