HI.
Looking for ways to adjust R headlight on 2006 Avalon XLS and found this forum. Not really a car guy but love driving the Avalon on longer drives but use 09 Smart car for running about town.

Welcome aboard Protea. Make sure you check out the 3rd Gen Avalon forum. What you're looking for has been a recent topic of discussion.

Take a look at: Horizontal Aim?

That might be what you're looking for.

Tom,
Thanks for advice.
I did check out that site/forum thread. In fact I found the responses were for a Drivers side head light problem where the question and mine is for passengers side head light. pic from manual is on LS near battery, where there are two adjusters with hex nuts only. However on RS there is 1 adjustment mechanism applicable to be maneuvered with a phillips screwdriver. But I am not noticing any movement of headlight light after 6-8 turns of screw. I will make more turns and report. Light replaced after accident and garage did not re-aim light and trying to fix it on weekend.

Tom .
Follow up on last response- Is it possible that RS light vertical adjustment is controlled by nuts on LS?? doses not follow but who knows as that is all manual shows for adjusting lights. I will pass a Toyota dealer Monday and will inquire.
