Hey thought I'd say Hi and nice to meet all of you. I've been a long time reader of TN.com and finally decided to join. I actually don't own a toyota, I own a fake toyota. I recently bought a 95 Geo Prizm with 102k for 1,000$. After researching cars I knew I wanted a toyota since they never seem to quit and after reading about the 4A-FE I narrowed it down to a Corolla...and then a Prizm cause they're cheaper. It has needed A LOT of TLC since I bought it (2 months ago) but it seems to be getting better over time. So far I've replaced:
Spark Plugs,Plug Wires
Cap and Rotor
Air Filter
PCV Valve
Timing Belt
Crank and Cam seals
water pump
valve cover gasket
Front and rear motor mounts
exhaust flex pipe
oil change/filter
idler pully
fuel filter
and cleaned the throttle body!
its running muuuuuch better now! hopefully I can get it running 100% soon!
