Hi Folks,
Last month I purchased a 2012 Camry Hybrid XLE with all the options. Only my second Toyota ever - the first was a Prius that was just too much of a driving appliance for my tastes, but this new car actually has a little performance to it, at least in a straight line. Not too thrilled with the electric power steering though. I suppose sacrifices have to be made in the name of efficiency (sigh).

Anyway, I've always been a car guy and owned many performance and sports sedans but also as an engineer I'm fascinated with the hybrid technology and efficiency, especially in light of the need to reduce our individual carbon footprints. I also ride a Yamaha Super Tenere (1200cc adventure bike) that gets the same MPG (38) as my Camry - LOL.
