92 camry

hello, I am ashok patel , I have 92 camry 2.2, 4 cycinder and I have the following problem.
any help would be greatly appreciated.

when I start my camry in the morning (cold start) , it starts at 1750rpm and then it jumps up to 2000rpm and runs for two to three minutes and slowly rpm comes down. I have to wait 4 to 5 minutes for engine to come down to idle speed. The problem is the cold start fast idle is too fast. I have changed spark plugs, wires, rotor, distributor cap and fuel filter, still no change.
please help.
thanks
ashok patel

That's normal on a Camry. When my engine is cold, it idles at 2000RPM also. It's part of the choke used to start the engine. Perfectly normal, nothing to worry about

Same here I have 3 Camry's 2 in Europe one in Canada. all of them will idle at about 2000 rpm till the Engine has a minimum Temp.
Even if you start Camry (warm) it will idle high for 1 or 2 secs

Thanks

I have two more issues with my Camry.

1. It feels like lak of power on acceleration, feels like I have to push it to get it going. Before it was taking 2500rpm to go at 70mph and now it takes 2600rpm to go at 70mph.

2. Pressing the power button next to the gear handle does not seem to make any difference while driving.

Can it be stuck in power mode? if so how to check it and how to get it out?
I have 130000 miles on my camry, would it help if I get my auto transmission serviced? Which one is better - service or the flush? There is no other issue
with the transmission.
Please help.
Thanks
