Supercharged Cam
APC air filter
3A/Walker racing exhuast
A lot of other crap.
bla, bla, bla...
First of all, Toyota engines which feature a supercharger, have the letter Z in the engine code, 4A-GZE and 1TZ-FZE. And I've never even heard of this factory supercharged 3SG you speak of. Want to post some pics to satisfy the curious?
The "Z" in the code maybe neccessary for a supercharger, but 1 problem, I didn't know that, it's not like the engine code is written on the block. I only call it a 3S-GE because it is a 2.0L DOHC with an EFI throttlebody, which probably makes it a "3S" series motor, and it's not a turbo, so it cannot be a "GTE", so what else is left? I guess you could call it a "3S-GZE", but I've never heard that one before. I'll talk to my friend from cleveland who has another car like mine and find out the details. Until then, hold your pants on, I'll take pictures of the engine bay to prove it when I get it back from the body shop, from having the body kit put on!
I think this guy is full of crap. Until I see pics of proof I am going to say BS. For one no 2nd gen camry came with a 3sge motor. 2 if this was all true he would have taken pics of his engine to go with the pics of the rest of his car. 3 none of my toyota buddies have heard of such a thing and hell even my dad who is a parts manager at a toyota dealership and has been in toyota parts for 29 years says he is full of shit. So please give me a pic to shut up and I will gladly say I was wrong until then though I am saying BS.
