88 all-trac

Brian is my name.
i drive a 88 all-trac.
just got it, but already had some small mods and repairs done done.
resealed engine(was leaking all over)
resealed turbo with new hoses.
i need to fix my gearbox, has a syncro prob, not too bad though
ic pump constant, fans constant, hope to do the cold air intake real soon.
pessimisticly considering my money situation. i only hope to get
boost guage(among other gauges)
boost controller
turbo timmer
if i get more money i will get a new turbo, depending i might get a stage 2

When you say all-trac, do you mean the Corolla SE sedan 4WD? I remember those things in the showroom and considered one. I was a little too anal to get one and modify it, but it did seem like a cool plan. Welcome! Keep your ears open and plan on learning a thing or two. I know I am.

They exist... (the Camry all-trac) But there aren't many out there, they were only sold with the 4-cylinder engine (and I think auto only, I'm not sure). It would be awesome to put a 3s-gte in it or something... but the driveline and tranny probably wouldn't be able to handle it for very long.

Oh, and welcome!

Yeah, it is... but it has 200 horsepower (in the later US versions) as opposed to the 115hp 3s-fe in the Camry.

I believe it started out with 185 bhp with the TVIS and air-liquid intercooler.

The Camry All-Trac was available in 5-speed, which the manual has a manual locking center differential.
