ME: Hi all. My name is Cam and I have just recently been enlightend of this board. I live in Toronto and consider myself an old fart since I was born in the sixties.
MINE: I own and love a 1989 Corolla GT-S that I bought brand new in '89. When I took a test drive in one I was sold. Of course I didn't buy the demo car since it had only 80 kms. on it when I wound it to 6000+ rpm.

The car is exceptionally clean and well taken care of. Most of the paint is original despite being a daily driver for my 13 years of ownership. It doesn't leak or burn oil despite 350,000+ kms. 'Who could ask for anything more?' if I may borrow a line from Toyota merchandising.
MODS: Do you mean an I a Mod or a Rocker? Oh, the car is completely stock. I bought a Toyota factory muffler (the black kind) with lifetime replacement warranty so now I'm on my 7th I believe. I replaced the original clutch at 321,500 kms. (my wife learned on this car!) When the time comes I will be asking around for a decent rebuilder for the engine and transaxle. That will probably be way off in the future though.
See ya!
