New to TN...so please don't rape me...

:P
Hi guys...(and gurls if there are any)...

Just wanted to say wussup...name is Shan (pronouced Shawn), I've been checking the board out quite some time for parts (used to have corolla), and finally decided to sign my lazy ass up! Nice to see u guys are all cools...also know a couple of guys who are on here once in awhile....

As for my ride...well, used to have an '88 Civic with ZC motor, done up nicely, sold that...had an '87 Corolla during that time as well up until recently with jdm corrolla motor in it...from an '86 I beleive, not that fast but fun none the less...car gone now.

So currently i have a 2.0L 8v VW Golf with minor mods for everyday use and am ALMOST finished building my 87 Fiero GT...with 3.8L turbo motor and fully done suspension, exhaust, etc...should be fun when its done (Which was SUPPOSED to be this summer, but that didnt happen, so 2 weeks from now shoudl be it) Hope to give all your MR2 guys a run for your money! I think it owuld be fun to compare the dynamics of both the cars sometime on a track day...that is if i were allowed to come. Please let me know...

oh i also take mah bros suzuki sv650s out once in awhile not as crazy as a gsx-r but good enuff

Neways, thats about it...also, gurl i am currently seeing drives a Supra, non turbo...so ummm yeah...haha, kinda on here in case i need to find sumptin for her too...u know how it is, lol! I luv my Toyotas...mis mah corolla....

Also, please check out my company (website) for anything you guys need to buy or sell, i dont sell anything, the site is a new online classified ads site, mainly based in TO...FREE for all memebers to use.... www.tunerparts.net - its open to any and all enthusiats like ourselves, no matter what car u drive...

Thanx

Do you have any pics? You've done what I had hoped to do (and more!) about a year ago. Unfortunately couldn't find an 87/88 GT down here (maritimes) that was in decent shape :-?

Sounds sweet!

Many didn't realize how good the performance was getting in the later model years, stock even. Possible reason for their demize

Cheers!

thanks man, yea i have a couple of pics someplace on my server space, have to dig'em up....car looks...different
yah, GT's are fookin rare!!!

ya, they last 86-88 (esp 88 ) GTs were amazing handling, same performance (OR BETTER) on the skidpad as all the top model performance cars like lotus, porsche, ferrari, nsx, etc....same 0-30mph as diablo with 5spd V6....but of course we all know they were underpowered, but handled amazing...so i have done mine with all upgrades to bring it to same level as those supercars....now its just a matter of proving it works on the track, lol

oh yah! those are 18's....i have do have a big brake kit behind them
ummm, and see hte last pic of the exhaust system...well that will be covered by an aluminum plate....with the intake filter and intercooler above it, mounted porsche style.....so when u pop the trunk, u see them and the motor....while turbo and exhaust hide underneath....u can only see turbo/wastegate if u know where to look.....

I like!

I can imagine it wasn't as 'easy' as you expected?

Be nice to see her all together and working!

18"s look tight
