UHM... VERY...

I mean, you have to imagine that you need permission of the owner of that parking lot, you need saftey staff, and probably insurance. If you're talking about a illegal style, then you're not going too far with that either. Have you heard of security cameras?!?!?!

This thread SHOULD be locked.

Well the fact that you are doing it at midnight will obviously tip off the cops that you arnt supposed to be there. If anything at least try to go to an industrial part of town on a weekend when no one is around, so if the cops do show up you can try and bs your way out of it by saying you have the owners permission.

Why not just go to an official autocross instead?

@CamryPunk: Okay, points taken, and I know these points will be considered in all severity of law if it were to happen, and if these mystery people were to be caught. But the definition of "autocross" in this particular imaginary scenario is one or two circuits by one or two people attempting to become better drivers. Please don't lock the thread - this is hypothetical and on a microscopic scale.

@FrescoBob: Interesting...I mean, theoretically, of course.

@BlueFusion: Too far away, not enough time (full-time students) and lack of experience.

@TokyoRacer: Hmm. That would involve entry fees. That would involve more than two people. That would involve liability and all the trappings that come with legitimacy. Still an interesting idea, but I don't think I'm ready to tackle that one quite yet.

meh I would say go for it if you want to so bad! worse that will happen is you will get caught. Here in barrie the leons parking lot is a good place to go at night because it's at the end of a dead end road so no one goes there when it's closed and has nothing but forest and hwy around it.
