Autocross is less so about engine power and more so about driving skills. It's funny how people think they'll get a faster lap time from their heavyass cars with lots of power, not the kind of combination you want for tight little autocross circuits.
Good job Tercel GTS The only reason the AC Cobra beated you (other than the driver) is because it's hella light with ALL the grunt from the V8. It's MORE than unfair if you ask me, but then again this is "run what you brung" type of racing.
The Lotus Elise naturally owned the course, but seeing a non-turbo Neon beat an 05 GT3 Porsche that has been modified was funny. They were pitted next to each other, and as the Porsche owner was loading it back on the trailer the Neon owner hooked a trailer to the hitch ON the Neon to carry his race tires home. I heard them discussing the points after the event and it was said the neon was two positions above the Porsche. So I looked at him, "you beat the Porsche? To which he slightly grinned saying "yes, I beat the Porsche,...it feels good".
By the way, y'all might notice the Subez with the out of state plates from more than one state over. I see Subez doing this CONSTANTLY. It kills me! When can I see a few Toyota members show up at an event? If I show y'all the whole years schedule would anybody be willing to show up?
I'd like to see the looks on their faces when their nice fast car gets beat by a lowly Tercel. (From their perspective...) I think yours is a sleeper An amazing one.

Thanks y'all! I'm running tein hr coilovers, front and rear swaybars with full poly bushings, starlet strut bar, 16x7 +42 rims with 205/40 rubber and rear disc brakes. In process of a 4efte swap and then it'll be time to play with transmissions.
I did freaking horrible this past race coming in 51st of 57 cars. We were in a lot that was very humpy with loose gravel and my light car with hard tires and suspension just slid all over the place. 7 weeks till next race though so I'll have plenty of time to iron out any bugs from the new engine.
