So, my local scca group (SBR) is not doing a novice school this year. They are, however, doing a "Test and Tune" event in its place. Just wanted to let the indiana and michigan peeps know about this, cause it sounds like the format is basically like open lapping at a track. You'll still be timed, but there's no pressure to compete.
However, as it is the second event of the season and the first T&T, there will probably be a shitload of people there -- so who knows how many runs we'll be able to get. I also don't know if they'll be putting out cones or not. Just the TR track would be cool, if there are cones then there will be corner workers, which means different heats and less drive time.
Anyway, the event is 5/14, a saturday. Come one, come all! $22 for a good time, yo!
