Tricks to FWD racing

I figure it would be good for us Auto-Crossers to put our info together and give out our tips on running a FWD car. How best to take Slaloms, fastest ways through turns, getting the right slip angle

I found LFBing helped to get the rear out around skid pads and through most anything. Slaloms it helped a ton to pop the rear out around cones..

I really haven't had major problems with plowing. The car seems to break pretty evenly when I reach max traction. Long skid pads I get understeer, but so does every car.

Anyone else?

actually a larger RSB will help the rear end come around when you lift off the throttle...throttle-off oversteer, which is what i use to get around cones sometimes. throttle steering can really be an advantage as well when going around long sweepers etc. just from my experience which is limited compared to others.

myself i don't Left foot brake much now, i am still learning other techniques like heel-toe etc so i just practice them for right now, so can't comment much there.

i have better luck kinda kicking my foot sideways and i catch the gas with more the side of my heel just to give the throttle a little "blip" i don't know how to describe it but like my foot is kind of at almost a 90 degree angle but not completely.

do you have stock pedals or do you have aftermarket pedal covers toyotaholic? b/c with the aftermarket covers the distance between the brake & gas is not as far & some pedal covers even have the gas pedal much closer to the brake with extra metal coming out if that makes sense.
