Her list of clients included Microsoft (MSFT ), Walt Disney (DIS ), and
Bush, whom she met socially in the 1980s. She ... represented him in a
title dispute over his East Texas fishing cottage. Governor Bush
rewarded her by giving her the high-impact job of cleaning up the
scandal-tarred Texas Lottery Commission.

She was born in Dallas.
She helped select John Roberts.
She was the Texas Lottery Commissioner.
Stellar qualifications.
Its the whole "title dispute" case that moves me most... wow, that
must've been groundbreaking law.

That really is the best you can do, isn't it? After all, you can't
argue for her qualifications. She has none. You can't say there's no
one more qualified, just about every judge is. You're not even smart
enough to realise that she's not a die-hard right winger (or
left-winger). Poor neocons. Following blindly.

You know, Gary, you are about the only IT person I know that's on the left.
How do you deal with the constant contradiction of the left and their oozy
little lies, and having to deal with cold hard fact every day?

Why not wait and watch the hearings. Then draw your own opinion based
on what you see and hear rather than based on what the DNC tells you to
think. She may just turn out to be a excellent choice. One thing I
like is she has never been a judge.

And if he chose someone with many years on the bench, you'd like that too.
Your opinion is worthless. BTW, I don't keep track of the DNC. That would
be SiF.

I didn't say what you said is said. My intentions would be to have a
mixture rather than all former judges. It's healthy for the court to
have a variety.

A supreme court judge with no judge or
constitutional law experience?
Sounds like she's as qualified to be a supreme court
justice as Brown was to lead FEMA. This choice
is just ridiculous, coupled with the history that she has
with Bush, it is hard to come up with any other
reason for this choice other than plain old cronyism.
He's certainly not picking the most qualified candidate to
one of the most important positions in our country.
The previous Chief Justice was not a judge before coming to the court,
neither was Arthur Goldberg, Felix Frankfurter and the list goes on. LOL
