My Highlander's (based on Camry chassis) check engine light came on (and
stayed on) a couple days after my last oil change. In the end I determined
that it was caused by a vacuum hose that had pulled loose from the air
cleaner box (thick rubber hose that plugged into some sensor on the firewall
side of the air cleaner box). I reconnected the hose and the light cleared
itself after about 5 days of driving. I don't know what the air cleaner box
looks like on a Camry, but it's hard to get the lid off of mine because of
the vacuum hoses. I'm guessing that the hose got pulled off when the dealer
checked the air cleaner at the time of the oil change.
I also had the check engine light come on one time before this. It was a
few days after I changed my air cleaner. I took it to the dealer and they
diagnosed/fixed it as a cracked vacuum hose. I'm guessing now that it was
really a hose pulled loose, but they didn't want to say that because they
had just changed the oil (and checked the air cleaner) a few days prior.
Anyhow, I was smarter the second time.
This might not be your problem, but it's something to check. Good luck.
