how can I access to the post CAT O2 sensor?

Hi,
Does anybody know how can I access to the post CAT O2 sensor and the
connector for my 2000 Corolla VE? It is not clear in the Haynes book,
and I am wondering whether I have to remove the seat and carpet at
front passenger side to access it or under the central console.

Thanks.

WM

Get underneath the car and look! You'll see it installed into the exhaust
pipe.

The connector is generally accessed by removing the console, the connector
runs near the back of the gearshift area, with a rubber plug in the
'tunnel'.

I have never seen an after-CAT O2 sensor that wasn't replaced by looking
under the car for it.

Re: how can I access to the post CAT O2 sensor?

I did. But I cannot determine the exact location of the circuit
connector is. Virtually inspect it, it seems go under the front
passenger's seat. That was the reason I asked. The Haynes book mentions
that the sensor connector is only accessible by removing the central
console which I heisitate to do.
Thanks.
