Money laundering is no minor technicality. He's facing life in prison.

The "money laundering" statute as it relates to shuffling political
contribution money wasn't in effect when he supposedly "laundered
money".

Breaking "laws" that are not in effect when you "broke" them is not a
minor technicality. It is a joke.

The prosecutor is a joke, has no evidence, and all charges will be
thrown out. And democrats once again will feel robbed.

You may want to check your facts again. Corporate contributions have
been illegal in Texas for at least the past 100 years. So, funnelling
corporate dollars through the RNC and back to TRMPAC is money
laundering, and is in violation of Texas election law.

Evidence abounds. Go check the numbers, they're available to everyone.
The question is not whether laws were broken; only how much DeLay knew
and had to do with it.

Supposedly the prosecutor, when asked to produce some evidence that his
whole case is based upon, couldn't produce it. It's close to getting
thrown out.

An order for discovery has to be issued. Among other things. Talk

Yes, that picture makes him look guilty. Either that or he's kind of
ticked at being the subject of wrongful prosecution...hard to tell
which.

The prosector should just show that picture to the jury and say "ladies
and gentlemen....does this guy look guilty or WHAT? I have nothing
further.".

Which grand jury? What was that the fourth one? The other ones
wouldn't indict him?

A prosecutor has to have some evidence upon which to base a case. You
don't indict and then hope to find something.

Too bad we couldn't get the "Cops" theme to play while the photos are
being viewed...

Even on 'cops' they say all suspects are presumed innocent until proven
guilty in a court of law. ;)
