please help with my mechanical problem toyota

I just went to get into my car and the engine would not turn over. As soon as I turned the key, my fan by the engine came on. The lights, buzzer and horn all work. Any body know what the problem could be? And please do not tell me to get another car.

First thing to check would be the battery. Even though all those other
things are coming on doesn't mean there is enough juice to start the
car.

Are the head lights bright?
