93 Geo Prizm Axle

My Mom's 93 Geo Prizm is making clicking sounds taking left hand corners. I
suspect a CV Joint.

As I'm new to the vehicle, I'm wondering if replacing the half shafts are
difficult in this model, if anyone has a reference to a good procedure, and
perhaps a reference to a reputable source to purchase them.

Thanks a bunch.

Scott

Yes, its a CV. Check on the replacement axle exchange cost at your nearest
auto parts store. Changing the axle is not hard. The problem can be the axle
stub is rusted into the hub. Check on the cost of having the job done at a
garage. Labour is 1 - 1.5 hours max.

Have the other side checked for CV boot damage.
