We now know more about the death of a soldier from Sparta killed in
Iraq. An army spokesman says Private First Class Anthony Gaunky died
Friday in a hospital in Germany. Gaunky was wounded in a roadside
attack last Thursday. The army says a civilian vehicle rammed into
Gaunky's humvee in Bayji, Iraq. Another solider from California also
died the same attack. Gaunky was from the 101st Airborne Division. He
was 19.
