OT - Strong economy, improving consumer confidence, way to go Pres. Bush!
Another piece of good news for the Bush administration. The Lugubrious
Libs are choking on this one.
" ... the business research group reported a rise in its index to 98.9
for November, up from a revised 85.2 in October, due to falling gas
prices and an improved outlook on the job market. Economists had
expected a rise to 90, according to Briefing.com."

Just as the increase in fuel prices had nothing to do with Bush either.

Yes, Thats' why to me Thanksgiving was extra special this year.
When New Orleans went under I thought this country was in big trouble.
What would the economic forcasts' have been if we knew after Bush took
office that the World Trade Center would be annhialated, there would be
war in Afghanistan, war in Iraq, seven major hurricanes, one completely
taking out New Orleans.
Should'nt we be in a major depression?

Actually Katrina helped economic growth. Net worth is down but growth is
up. That is what I hate about the way they measure the economy. If
everyone had everything they wanted, according to the economists, that would
be bad because growth would be zero. Or how about ignoring a horrible
balence sheet just because the income statement is good.

As of yesterday gas was $1.93 here. It continues a slow fall in price.
