OT - Barrs Leak Follow-Up

Recall that I was going to try Barrs Leak in my Ford 390 with a cracked
block. I guess - so far, so good. I followed the directions, waited the
suggested 24 hours and fired it up. For the first couple of days, it was
better but there was still some leakage. Today, however, I was pleasantly
surprised to find it dry. I'm not confident yet and still cringe at the
thought of a freeze plug blowing out at speed. Anyhow, I'll post in a few
days and let you know if it holds.

Someone asked me why I feel it necessary to touch 5 grand ocassionally,
suggesting that this might contribute to my problem (cracked block). Well, I
just gotta do it, can't resist. I just love the sound of a screaming V-8!
