Actually, playing that song was probably Yoko's idea. She pissed Paul off
recently by saying his songs were sappy. She was probably trying to
backpedal.

Richard
I don't care for the Beatles much as a band, but Lennon and McCartney were
the best pop songwriters ever.

Joan Rivers had a routine talking about why she has that name: "When her
parents first saw her, he said, 'YUCKO! OH NO!'

Yeah I hear they're really strict about being late for your shift at
Chic-Fil-A.
Myself -- I have one of them there kinds of jobs where I'm off
weekends, I have tons of vacation, and I have a desk with a computer
where I can get online when I wish.

I think the opinion that the Today Show is moronic is a non-partisan
one... I prefer to watch old man Imus during that time -- as I make
the oatmeal, tie the shoes, etc etc

Well, alas, so did I. But since I am a Professional, I work Banker's
hours.
Bet you get home earlier than I do.
Nah, I'm a "do-er", aren't many of us left, all the "Professionals" (aka
management) work banker's hours, we're the ones that do the work, and,
blissfully, get to work from home from time-to time. When I go to the
office , it's for about 11 hours. Us do-ers do the work. I'm a
Professional at what I do, and wouldn't be proud to say that I didn't
put in a full day's work, at the office or at home. I sometimes have
to stay late because the "Professionals" (aka management) have gotten
themselves in a mess. I help them fix it, then... gotta go, and I'm
working from home tomorrow ...ah, bliss.
