OT Many thanks to Ray O!

Ray,

I used your suggested technique for freeing up 'non working' light
door light switches on the two back doors of my '92 Corolla. (WD 40
squirted inside the switch)...

I now have lights for the first time since I bought my car!

Thanks and Merry Christmas.

I'm off for the cold cold north country.

I never tried that. I actually took the switches apart and cleaned the
contacts.

Hah, I'm going the opposite direction on Thursday. Merry Christmas to
you also.

Taking the switches apart and cleaning the contacts is the correct (and
labor intensive) method. A little dielectric grease should keep the lights
on for a long time.

Have a Merry Christmas and a safe trip!

You're welcome and a very merry politically incorrect Christmas to you and
your family too!

Look me up if you're coming through the Windy City!

Have a safe trip!
