OT: News you don't get

The National Review(no one else would report it) allows that Afghans give
the USA an 83% favorable opinion...only 8% think the USA should leave. 87%
of Afghans agreed that the President Bush led overthrow of the Taliban was a
good thing. President Karzai enjoys an 83% approval rating. Democracy is
thriving...

Now, remember you will not get the above information from the mainstream
media. The Defeatocrats control the media......they thrive on bad news.
Please see if you can pass this along our underground freedom train of good
news...even send it to a Defeatocrat.

Ironically, Iraqis feel much the same way. The numbers vary, but the message
is the same.

When Iraqis say that America should leave, they then say, "but not right
now." The insurgents say we should leave right now, but they are by
definition a minority of the population.

Re: News you don't get

It is pretty much the same in Ísland where the troops have been over
half a century
In the beginning there were protests of them being here

Now there are protests for them leaving

Basically they can go whenever but keep sending money

The US has been providing the military protection for many courtiers since
WWII. Most of Europe, half of the far and middle east and all of Canada

How much did the administration pay for this article?
If you actually got news from places other than the Pravda, errr.. I mean
the
right wing approved news sources, you'd know that this is not true and that
there are a lot of positive and negative stories on Afghanistan. You just
choose
to view news sources that give only the right wing approved sanitized
versions.

Alternatively, you only take the Left Wing stories of doom and despair. The
fact is that the media generally only report on the train wrecks because we
expect the good news to just happen, making good news non-news. The bad news
makes the headlines, and that't all you see, therefore nothing is going
right anywhere.

A Right Wing story from time to time that trumpets the successes serves to
balance all of the train wrecks that the Left Wing stories constantly drill
into you.

Tell you what. If I ran a country that supplied most of the planets opium
and could count on the US military to back me up, I'd be a pretty happy
camper too. Nice you've caught on the fact that these police actions are
bushes and not some mystical coalition. Don't know much about the media, do
you?
