'92 Corolla windshield spitter

I want to remove the (windshield) spitter on the hood to clean it out
as it spits water but not with enough pressure. Underneath hose looks
and feels okay and I tried to poke the holes on top but no luck. Is
there a way to remove this plastic spitter without breaking it so I
can clean it in the sink better?

Have you tried suction (Mityvac hand pump if you don't feel like
sucking on a hose) combined with a needle or a welding tip cleaner
(fine stiff wire with file style ridges) in the sprayer orifice? The
suction hauls the offending chunk of crud out the same way it came in,
rather than trying to break it up and push it through the hole.

Do not use anything large like a safety pin that will enlarge the
hole, use a fine sewing needle that is smaller than the hole.

Other than that, I don't know that particular car - but they had to
install it at the factory, right? It went on, so it comes off.

To solve some problems you just have to stop and think it through
logically, and the answers will come.

If the mounting isn't an obvious screw, they might have done
something tricky like secured it on the backside with a speed-nut
before they installed the cowl vent panel and the windshield wiper
arms, or they reach through a cleanout hole that now has a big plastic
body plug in the hole, or it's held in by a snap-in metal clip that
goes into the mounting hole....

But however they did it, it'll be simple, quick, and obvious once
you figure it out - assembly lines have to move fast, so it isn't
going to take more than 30 seconds to install - the entire washer
system probably come pre-assembled with the tank and pump, hose and
two nozzles. When a worker sees that this car gets a washer he grabs
an assembly from the pallet, snaps in and screws down the tank, plugs
in the washer pump power plug, routes the hose and snaps in a
retaining clip or two, and snaps in the nozzles.

Get a flashlight and a mechanic's mirror (Small 1" round, large
2"x4", both on a telescoping handle) and check it from all angles.
