2004 Avalon Glass Break Sensor ??

I purchased a glass break sensor for my 04 Avalon to add to the OEM
alarm system that the car came with. The seller advised that I need to
take it to a dealer to have the unit scanned so it would work. Does
anyone know what he is talking about? Does anyone have the
instructions for installation? Any help is appreciated.

Sounds like the computer needs to know the item was installed or it won't
function if the seller is right.

Do a search for the Fujitsu fax back phone number to get the install
instructions. On my '03 4Rnr there is just a sensitivity adjustment for the
glass breakage.
