Art,

In case you missed it....Bush fired Brownie....

That is a mark of a good leader.

If someone is incompetent....fire him...

You want me to bring up all the incompetent Clintoon idiots....I'd be
happy to.

Hey Scott, I thought Brownie did pretty good down in Florida? There
was no big deal about the 4 or 5 hurricanes before Katrina was there?
Why come there is little on the news about Mississippi, Western La,
and East Texas? They got hammered too.

Maybe it because of the Floridians understanding what it means to be
prepared and that evacuate means to haul ass.

Brown took the fall for the gross ineptitude of the Mayor of New Orleans
and the Governor of Louisiana in handling their responsibilities to their
citizens.

Well most of us are prepared down here.

Turns out the people in Palm Beach County were bitching cause FEMA did
not have water there the NEXT day. You remember Palm Beach County?
That is the place that had the problem voting....and is mostly
democrats....LOL

Our excellent Governor Bush was on TV before every hurricane telling
Democrats how to prepare (us Republicans can read and know what to
do...).

The States that had problems were run by Democrats.

Lesson?

Re: OT - Bush appointee Brownie did one heck of a job

that is what I thought Mike.

It was and is a hell of a mess.

We don't get many of the severe earthquakes where I live but one has
to be somewhat prepared for anything now days.

One of the glaring things that struck me when seeing the pictures of
New Orleans is that there are at least 1 car in front of every flooded
house that were just left. Then the bitching was about "ordering"
buses when there were hundreds parked/flooded

Ah well the rest of us will pay for it again I guess.

Re: OT - Bush appointee Brownie did one heck of a job

Just as a matter of course I keep 5 or 6 cases of gallons of bottled
water on hand.

Probably enough groceries to make out for a week or more too. Just my
bent!

so damned simple to be more or less prepared. Now if I can just
remember the combination to the gun safe!!

But wait. In the thread I posted titled "OT MIKE BROWN FIRED", you and
your bf DBU are both quoted as saying that he wasn't fired, that he
was simply recalled to Washington.

But you said he wasn't fired, that he resigned on his own.

And in 2007 I'll give you the link to this thread, where your posts are
NOT cancelled after seven days ;)
