but kennedy is such a piss-ant politician who has no ideas and is a big
bully, and cannot get anything done. Why in hell do the citizens of
Massachusetts keep re-electing him is beyond me.

I've said this before. He has an Excellent staff! If you're beating your
head against a Brick Wall, you call Kennedy's office. If there is even a
glimmer that what you want or need may get done, it WILL get done!!
