Toyota Corolla 2005 (1800cc) Misfire when cold

Hello

My Toyota Corolla Verso 1800cc petrol misfires (jerky acceleration)
when cold (up until the blue "engine cold" indicator goes off). The
dealer is not helpful.

Once warmed up, the engine is ok.

Any clues as to what might be causeing this. It has been like this
since new, has done 7000 miles now.

Thanks.

On the Toyoto Corolla Verso, the dash display does not have a
temperature gauge. Instead it has a blue colored low temperature
warning light (displayed whenever the engine has not reached regular
temperature) and a high temperature warning light (when the engine is
too hot).

Can you explain why you think the dealer is not helpful? Did the dealer's
service department look at the car and experience the condition you are
describing? What did they tell you?

Does the car have an automatic or a manual transmission?

Ah, thank you. Looks like someone already asked about your trannie,
that would have been my question too.
