I've walked across that bridge before the modifications in the picture were
made. It was made of wood and pretty narrow with nothing in the way of
curbs or guardrails to keep a car from driving off. In fact, it didn't look
like it was designed for vehicular traffic. I imagine it would be kind of
unnerving to drive across a bridge where if you look out the side window,
all you see is water. It would be tricky even if you're not hammered.

BTW, I believe that Chris Kennedy lives in the Chicago area and drives a
Lexus ;-)
