OT Email I received from a Canadian buddy.....

I am a Canadian Republican it seems!
---------------------------------------------------------------

Are you a Democrat, Republican or Southern Republican?
Here is a little test that will help you decide. The answer can be
found by posing the following question:

You're walking down a deserted street with your wife and two small
children.

Suddenly, an Islamic Terrorist with a huge knife comes around the
corner, locks eyes with you, screams obscenities, praises Allah,
raises the knife, and charges at you. You are carrying a .40 caliber
Glock, and you are an expert shot. You have mere seconds before he
reaches you and your family.

What do you do?

Democrat's Answer:

Well, that's not enough information to answer the question! Does the
man look poor! Or oppressed?

Have I ever done anything to him that would inspire him to attack?
Could we run away?

What does my wife think?

What about the kids?

Could I possibly swing the gun like a club and knock the knife out of
his hand?

What does the law say about this situation?

Does the Glock have appropriate safety built into it?

Why am I carrying a loaded gun anyway, and what kind of message does
this send to society and to my children?

Is it possible he'd be happy with just killing me?

Does he definitely want to kill me, or would he be content just to
wound me?

If I were to grab his knees and hold on, could my family get away
while he was stabbing me?

Should I call 9-1-1?

Why is this street so deserted?

We need to raise taxes, have paint and weed day and make this a
happier, healthier street that would discourage such behavior. This is
all so confusing! I need to debate this with some friends for few days
and try to come to a consensus.

Republican's Answer:

BANG!

Southern Republican's Answer:

BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! click.....

(sounds of reloading).

BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! click

Daughter: "Nice grouping, Daddy! Were those the Winchester Silver Tips
or Hollow Points?

Son: Git-r-Dun Pop! Can I shoot the next one!

Wife: You ain't taking that to the Taxidermist!

Reminds me of a karate instructor who used to say "Karate is not self
defense. Easiest self-defense is run away but if you run away and leave
your girlfriend behind, she will be mad and you won't get lucky. Best self
defense is 45 auto. If you are with your girlfriend and someone attacks you
and you left 45 auto at home because girlfriend doesn't like guns, and you
want her to kiss you, THEN you can use karate."

Excellent. There is a LOT of truth in that. It describes Canadian LIEbrawls
and NDPers to a "T".

This guy even talked like Mr. Miyagi, he was full of words of wisdom. I
think he still teaches and gives demonstrations in the Chicago area.

Are Southern Republicans that bad at aiming? ;0

One of my co-workers said to another, "Your idea of gun control is
hitting what you're aiming at!"

No, actually you will find Southern Republicans are quite good at
aiming....LOL

My Mother was a great example. 100lbs and a crack shot.

The cops in her small superb of Atlanta told her that if anyone ever
tried to break in....shoot him...make SURE he is dead....empty your
gun into him....pull him in the house and call us.

I always made SURE she knew I was coming to see her...LOL

LOL! This karate instructor was politically incorrect well before Bill
Maher. When someone asked him to demonstrate how to break a block of ice
with his head, the instructor just said "Breaking ice with head is Korean
martial arts trick and those Korean guys are crazy, probably from breaking
ice with head. Besides, when was last time someone attack you with block of
ice?"

Political correctness has its place but IMO the PC police have gone a little
too far.[color=blue]

It just takes Respect not "Correctness".
Christ, I've told a load of Asian/Irish/Black jokes in the past. They
have funny, not sick.
I laughed, others laughed. Nobody died.
I've also watched some ethic Live and TV comedy shows like "the real
Macoy" and "Goodness Gracious me" and Richard Pryor and Eddie Murphy
live with white, black and asian friends, the white friends were stunned
that I found jokes about white folks funny, the black/asian friends were
stunned that I got the jokes about white folks.
