Real leadership requires ideas, vision, motivation, gumption, and the
willingness to do the right thing even if it is unpopular. Who do you
have in mind?

Certainly hasn't been happening since bush during the bush presidency. The
President's first priority is the protection of the US. 9/11 happened on
bush's watch - with the aid of rice and others. The US was not then and is
currently not prepared for any kind of real emergency because now, the new
department of homeland security is clearly a dismal failure. It was a bush
idea. The endlessly excused war in Iraq has done nothing to protect the US.
It was a bush idea although he STILL can't rationally explain why it
happened. These two items need correcting now. The bush league has proven
they aren't up to the job. We need to find a team that is. That would
certainly be a start.

I think you need to look back at history a bit and get back to us....

It sure as hell has....it got all the terrorists into Iraq so we could
kill them in the desert. A gigantic win for the good guys.

Let's see. The UN told Saddam to get rid of the WMD and report the
destruction of same.
Saddam didn't.
We enforced the UN orders.
