Yeah...on an Unmarked cruiser.
How *DUMB* do you have to be not to recognize an unmarked cruiser?
Although, in Ludlow, MA just outside of Springfield about 10 years ago, they
had a Crown Vic, Powder Blue, with the half
vinyl roof, and NO LIGHTS anywhere! The lights were mounted on the
passenger's side sunvisor, the officer would flip the visor down to have the
lights available. Even the radio antennas were hidden. Slickest unmarked I
ever saw. But, once I saw it once...
The other one was on the Mass Turnpike (US 90). Coming around a bend and
down a hill, the radar detector starts going off. Get out from under the
overpass and around the bend and there was a 1994 Lincoln MKVIII there. Ok,
where's the cop? Must have been a bad signal.
Six days later, same thing...
3 days after that, radar detector starts going off in the same place. Get
around the bend and there's the MarkVIII with every single
turn signal, backup lights, headlights, etc strobing. I think that was the
coolest unmarked I ever saw...Well, then tere were the Mazda MX-6's and
Mustang V8's in Connecticut.

Sounds like a case of police entrapment. The poor bloke was another
disgruntled kerry backer.

Back around 1970, a friend from Maryland told me that the troopers used a
hay truck. If true, pretty funny.

The cops really do love it when the idiots seek them out and ask to
get arrested. Makes a small bright spot in their day.

Back in the 70's and '80's the Mass State Police were using a 'broken down'
18 wheeler on the Mass Pike.

You never saw the light blue thunderbird the Staties had. Saw one on
128 @ highland Ave Needham a few years ago. 30 mission hat, knee high
riding boots, full dress uniform.

Yeah, those are a little harder tospot! But the current crop...who the hell
puts a brush guard on a Crown Vic except for a Statie or Bubba?!?!
