The Enron debacle was all bred during the go-go years of the clintoon
administration. Remember the lay-back attitude of the SEC.

Actually the Republican Congress during the Clinton and older Bush years,
pretty much cut the balls off the SEC and made it impossible to sue
corporate boards. It is the Republicans fault.

The Republicans gained control on the House of Representatives for the first
time in about 40 years after the 1994 election, so they were not in control
during the Bush Sr. years.
