Replacing The Cabin Filter in an 02 Avalon

Anybody have a clue as to where I can get detailed instructions on how to
relace my AC Filter which I hear is under my glove box for my 02 Avalon?

You can purchase on line access to the factory service manual at
http://techinfo.toyota.com/

I'm pretty sure the cost is $10/day.

Or, if you can look at the glove box and figure out how to remove it, you
will be able to see the filter.

If your glove box is the kind where the whole things pivots outward when it
is unlatched, then open the glove box and empty it. If you take a look at
the upper left and upper right sides of the glove box, you should see
protrusions on the sides that act as a stop so the glove box doesn't flip
all the way forward. Gently squeeze the sides of the glove box so the
protrusions clear the opening in the dash and pivot the glove box all the
way forward. You should be able to see what's back there.

good luck!
