hmmmmm I would think you could write your ticket! It very well might
be worth a look see.
I sure as hell would love for you to be in their customer
relations/service operation.

LOL! For the most part, I enjoyed meeting with customers because I was
usually able to either fix their cars or re-assure them in person that
nothing was wrong.
My expense account wasn't THAT big but the annual new model intro shows for
dealers was always an extravaganza with the local fare from wherever the
event was being held plus several sushi stations, tables loaded with a dozen
different kinds of caviar, and entertainment. I've seen professional stunt
drivers drive FX16's on 2 wheels, magicians, Jay Leno, the Beach Boys, Kenny
Rogers, the Tokyo Philharmonic and on and on.
Rather than changing cars every 6 months or 12,000 miles, one of my friends
in the forklift division was saying that he has to keep his company car for
(gasp) 2 years and depending on grade level, there are caps on dealer cost.
For example, he can drive a moderately equipped Camry, Sienna or Tacoma, a
stripped Tundra or Avalon, loaded Corolla, etc. I don't know if those same
rules apply to the folks calling on car dealers.

Hmmm...we set up two reasonably well equipped Highlanders for the regional
reps, and an Avalon for someone else. The Avalon was OK, but the Highlanders
were fairly well appointed.

There are at least 3 different Toyota companies that call on the dealers -
Toyota Motor Distributors, Toyota Motor Insurance Services, and Toyota Motor
Credit Corp. The Boston Region TM people have dealer plates while the TMIS
and TMCC people have hard plated cars. The TMIS and TMCC people have always
had more restrictions on what they could drive than the TM people, and even
within TM, there was a pecking order.
