i have a Toyota Space cruiser model f gl (g reg)when you start it up and
the engine gets hot water pumps out of the overflow tank, there is no
water in the oil or any white substance in the oil cap, the water hoses
dont go solid, have taken out the thermostat, there is no water leaks from
anywhere else, could you please advise me on what the problem could be
Thanks

It could be a bad radiator cap. Radiator caps are relatively inexpensive,
and if the original one is more than 4 or 5 years old, I'd start by
replacing it.

Why have you bought so many new radiator caps in the last few months? How
many of them are OEM caps?
I don't remember all of the symptoms in your original post but I don't
recall seeing overheating among them. The only symptom that you mentioned
is that when the engine gets hot coolant is pumped out the overflow tank.
If the engine is overheating, then there are several things you need to
check, like coolant condition and concentration, cooling fan operation,
coolant circulation, water pump, thermostat, ignition timing, exhaust
restriction, etc.

Should I change my radiator cap on my '92 Corolla Wagon? it is still
the original....LOL
Depends on how long the cap on your '92 has been leaking and how badly, I
guess? ;)

I'm pretty sure there is a replacement interval for the radiator cap. It's
either 60K, 100K, or 120K, I don't remember.

BTW, G reg = Great Britian talk for 1990 model year. That is the
registration plate is G 123 ABC with G denoting the year and BC the
registration centre. My 1993 would be a K reg, and your 1992 would be a J
reg.

worth it.

After a 'yak ride? That's something I'd like to try again. My experience
is in one of those short ones that looks like a squashed beetle, trying to
do combat rolls in a pool. The kid showing us made it look easy but I never
did get the hang of it - I can only hold my breath so long.

Mine is a 'sit on top' model. If I fall off, all I have to do is
