OT. Illegal Aliens are Good Citizens

Who was the ditz that said this on the National News last night?

"They go to schools, they're good citizens, they pay taxes..."

They are? Gee, I thought the whole problem was they *ARE NOT* citizens! Not
at all!
And they DON'T pay taxes!
Who is this woman? Please tell me she's not a lawmaker!
If she is, she desparately needs to be voted out.

I don't want special treatment.
I want to be treated like an Illegal Alien!

Hell, I don't need auot insurance, or even a Drivers License!
I can get free health care at the Emergency Room anytime I want!
I can get Welfare!
AND work under the table!
I can go to school, and it doesn't cost me a dime!

Well maybe not all taxes, but when they buy stuff, they pay sales taxes.
Also, a lot of illegals actually do pay income taxes - IRS and INS are two
different entities, and there is this unwritten rule that IRS doesnt turn
anyone into INS - IRS just wants its money.

The sales taxes or use taxes will be paid by anyone, citizen or not,
even people here on a tourist visa. Americans visiting other countries
will pay the equivalent of sales tax too. So this isn't a meaninful
"they pay taxes" statement.

As for income tax, that has to be fixed before they start really
cracking down on illegals. You can't have the left hand collecting
income tax while the right hand is deporting them.

I really can't see that making it a felony to be here illegally is
going to do anything. INS can't cope with what they have now.

I am stating a fact that illegals do pay taxes in one form or another... no
one accepts goats in exchange for milk anymore to buy goods...

they don't pay much in taxes.

That ditz was/is Senator Diane Feinstein (D) Ca. We have these two
brilliant Senators from California (her & Boxer) that are probably as
