OT: Looks like Condi wants to remove the right to bear Arms.
Dr Rice said: ?You can?t have, in a democracy, groups that have arms.
The state must have a monopoly on power.?

She was talking about the 52 state, but lets face it.
america is also supposedly a democracy, and she says you can't have
people power. Only the state (her and her boss) can have power.
Scott, please report to the cold dead hand opening facility.
Failure to comply will make you a terrorist.

SO if a rep of the law enforcement service turned up to take your weapon
when the law changes, you would shoot them?

Re: OT: Looks like Condi wants to remove the right to bear Arms.
<tee-hee>
There's a MUCH more effective trick than THAT. Just use the old Cop
Trick against THEM.
Turn over your crappy, worn-out "throw-down" gun -- showing some
hesitance, but not 'rebellion' -- and send them on their way. Sign the
consent decree -- "get all your papers and smile at the sky, cuz you
know that the hypnotised never lie..."
They check off your name on their very lengthy list and away you go to
take care of business elsewise. They'll have bigger fish to fry, like
some dimwit that wants to "make a stand" and you'll be labelled as
"compliant".
Simple trick pioneered by the Latvians many years ago.

Consider the source. She did a great job as National Security Advisor before
9/11 too.
