OT Bush Springs A Leak; Prays Dems Don't Take The Hill Back
George W. Bush authorized the leaking of classified information to
silence a truth-teller about his wicked lies and distortions which have
since led to the deaths of thousands of Iraqis and American soldiers.
Re: OT Bush Springs A Leak; Prays Dems Don't Take The Hill Back
That is one view, little richard AKA dick However we would expect that from
you but several legal scholars, who know better, have said the President and
the VP have the Constitutional authority to declassify information. That is
what was done to show how his distracters were wrong, again, not laws were
broken. The British governments still supports the President position on the
situation ;)

Mike, you should feel honored when professor rich calls you derogatory
names, it means you have him on the defensive and backed in a corner
like a scared little mouse.

I always getta chuckle out of the "impeach Bush" crowd. They seem to
forget that William Jefferson Clinton WAS Impeached by vote of Senate.
Anyone remember that?
Anyone remember the "controlling legal authority" talking point??
Seems that yes, he was impeached, but cuz there was no 'controlling
legal authority' WHO was gonna make him step down? You?? so he
stayed. All completely "Constitutional" as it doesn't really say
otherwise, now does it?
So use up all your time, money, and energy to 'impeach' Bush and see
what it gets ya. That part of the Constitution -- along a with a great
many others -- was laid to rags years ago and trampled. Oh, but wait,
THIS time it'll be all "different"??

Re:Dims hope to take back the hill, as they did in 2000
You are a bit confused Larry. The House 'impeaches' for high (serious)
crimes and misdemeanors (minor crimes) The Senate hears the charges and
has the power to remove a President (or other elected officials) but it
takes the votes of 60 Senators. There was not 60 votes to remove Clinton.
The Dimocrates are holding up much of the meaningful spending legislation
coming from the House, in the same manner, because the Republicans have only
55 votes. Whenever a piece of legislation comes up that they do not like
they threaten to filibuster (debate forever) to stop all work of the Senate.
It take 60 votes to end debate so the Republican leadership can not bring
the legislation to the floor. They have been doing it ever since the lost
control of both houses then blame the Republican when nothing get done, like
spending cuts

Actually, I lost 50 lbs in 2005.... I put on 50 lbs in 2004. Insane.
All work and food, no sleep.
I'm keeping it off, too.
