Condi Rice on Iraqi right to bear arms.

Did I hear correctly that Condi Rice stated that people in a democracy
do not need the right to own guns?!?

I wasn't paying attention to the radio one morning the other day when
something to this effect went in one ear and out the other :(

I believe you got the essence of her comment stated in a news conference
with Jack Snow in Baghdad. Something to the effect that in a "Democracy" the
Government must have a monopoly on weapons.
