OT: What happens when Liberals get their hands on Business:

This is what happens when Liberals get to call the shots in the Business
world.
This is from an order placed by the University of Neverland (no, I'm NOT
going to tell you what state!) doing business with my company. Perhaps they
should mind their *OWN* business:

VENDOR AFFIRMATIONS:

By accepting, Vendor hereby certifies that:

The vendor has not violated any Anti-Trust laws of the US.
The Vendor is making any Child Support payments.
In compliance with payment of Retirement Benefits.
In compliance with the Clean Air Act.
In compliance with the Equal Employment Opportunity act.
In compliance with the Sex Offender Registry code of the state of ......

This was a three page document, for about $200 worth of goods.
So, what happens if we're not in compliance? They take our Birthday away?

First, yeah, which state?

Second, maybe this has more to do with Federal regulations than anything
else and, the last time I checked, the liberals were firmly outnumbered in
all three branches of government.

Third, this may have more to do with some lawyer's over-zealous
interpretation of a statute than anything any liberal happened to think up.

Finally, if it's a "liberal" thing to send along a document like this, well,
it seems me that only a NeoCon would balk at signing a document that says,
"yes, we're obeying the law?"

Is there some particular reason you're worried about this?

Shoot, I'm not 'worried' about it at all.

My company bends over backwards to accomodate everyone.

It's just that, what's all the concern whether our employees pay their
Child Support?

Next thing they'll be requiring us to have handicapped bathrooms, etc.

Like I said, what business is it of theirs?

I'd bet you $100 they do business with companies that hire illegals...

Notice THAT is not there.
