Now, this made my DAY! Fat old nearsighted gun-boy brings his ass out
onto the diamond to toss the opening ball, and the crowd went WILD with
jeers and boos.

Never mind Cheney, did the Nationals get booed off the field? Are they
channeling the '60's Senators or did they manage to win the game?

I ask this as someone whose memories of RFK Stadium mostly involve watching
the Senators snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

I did see Frank Howard slam a few into the cheap seats but it was never
enough. Usually far better to leave in the 7th when they were still ahead
and then avoid TV and radio news so you wouldn't hear the final score.
