Shoot, if it helps any I have a Toyota C&C truck that runs fine and burns a quart of oil every 400 miles or so.
I know its hard to believe but its always done that because the loads so heavy. Basically runs wide open it's whole life.
Oh, and it pass's the California smog test's.
