2002 Tacoma - Replacement Tabs for Cup Holder

The little rubber tabs in the cup holders of my 2002 Double Cab Tacoma
have dried, cracked and broken. The dealer says that if I care enough I
have to replace the entire console at some ridiculous price.

I just want to replace the little rubber tabs. They should not cost
more than about $2 each (and even that would be too much!).

If anyone knows where I could buy these, I would love to hear from you.

Thanks in advance.

Call www.trdparts.com and order the tabs or a different local dealer may
order them for you. They should only be 7 to $8 shipped to you. Or some
people have made replacements using a mouse pad, simply lay the old tabs on
the mouse pad and cut to match with scissors. It is easy to change out the
tabs. If your center console is like mine (02 TRD extended cab) then it's
actually got 4 screws and 2 bolts in it. The first two are one on each side
in the front where it screws into the gear shift cover, then move both seats
all the way forward and there's one screw in each back corner. Then open the
bottom storage compartment and there's two 10mm bolts in the very bottom.
Each tab is held in place by a single phillips screw. Hope that helps....
