2000 carolla check engine

Can a weak battery periodically cause the check engine light to illuminate?
If I connect a battery charger to my battery, it will stay off for a few
weeks. Is there no voltage indicator light in a 2000 carolla? Can I be
having a charging systme problem?

Rather than speculating on the cause of the check engine light, the best
thing to do is to take is somewhere and have the codes read. Many places
like AutoZone will lend you the code reader for free.

Hey Ray, do you have a macro programmed on your keyboard with the
explanation of what to do with an MIL? You must go through that three or

Good idea on the macro! I'll have to do it some time!
