15" X 6.5" on back 15" X 6.0 on frount TOYOTA MR2 why?

putting used wheels on my scion and wonder if these will work

Because the MR2 was a 'mid' engine RWD vehicle, and thye rear wheels had to
bear more weight and have better handling characteristics than the front.
