Current 4Runner Rebate Question

In the Midwest, Toyota has a $1000 rebate on the 4Runner until May 31.
Does anyone "know" if Toyota is increasing the rebate after that date?
Thanx

Re: Current 4Runner Rebate Question

Local Toyota dealers on the east cost are advertising zero interest, up to
six years, and four to seven thousand off MSRP on every 2005 vehicle on
their lots. 2006s at 1.9% and two to five thousand off MSRP. Imagine 2005s
still unsold when GM Ford and Chrysler have 2007s on the ground

Yeah, because we all know Toyota is losing market share!

As the next model year is coming, rebates are likely to get higher.
The selection, however, will be dearth and might hinder you in finding
the exact package that you want.
