Sienna CE 2006 Authorized Repair Manual any good or best?

I the Sienna CE 2006 Authorized Repair Manual mentioned in the User
Manual the best one to get or is there a better one?
Is it detailed and accurate?

I don't want to be a mechanic but the alternative has never worked for
me in 40+years. Does one have to get it through the dealer or the 800
# or can one go to Amazon.com?

Regards,
Joe

The Factory Service Manual is very detailed and accurate. None of the
aftermarket manuals I have seen are as detailed and comprehensive. The down
side to the Factory Service Manual is that some of the troubleshooting
guides are not very easy to understand.

You can order the manual from the dealer or from Toyota's 800#.

Called the 800 #
It is a four part thing.
The first three volumes cost from $131.59 to $139.81 each!
The fourth "Wire Diagrams" is only $105.52 additional.
I quickly ordered ten sets so I would never run out of light reading
<grin>. I see competition for Amazon.com.

joe

PS. will see what Pepboys have.

The only source for a new factory service manual is through Toyota's
Material Distribution Center or through a dealer. Amazon, Pep Boys, etc.
will have aftermarket manuals, which are probably a better choice for
someone who is not very familiar with automotive systems.
